Big Ben

Here's a great headshot of my kid, who's turning 13 this weekend. The big blowout, "Oh-Sixapalooza", included about 20 of his friends, including one of his best buddies playing DJ for the evening. I'm fortunate to be around such talented teens.

The party was a smash for all ages. My 79-year-old dad sat patiently, trying to suppress a grimace while a teen heavy metal band jangled for half a set. My mom, of the same age, affectionately dubbed Yoda by her former students, got up and danced with the Benmeister.
