Red, White and Vindaloo
On this Fourth, Cindy and gang declared independence from hot dogs and hamburgers and the gathering feasted on Asian, German and Italian food. As dusk set in, we were treated to belly dancing al fresco by Ronni, a beautiful, talented preteen from India.
The sky lit up after sunset--super sparks provided by Parks and Rec and a lightning show by Mother Nature.
The celebration with an international flair was an all-American spectacular.

Hi Grace-
Wasn't that a great 4th 'o' July lightning storm? We smeared butter on some Benedryl caplets and fed 'em to the dogs (seems to take the edge off all that fireworks inspired canine mania). Then we went out on the porch to watch the light show, thankful to be far from the Riverfromt Park clusterfest.
Your blog is very cool. You host young subcontinental bellydancers and feast on ecclectic cuisine. We mostly get porcupines out here...
